He was predeceased by: his daughter Denise Barbagallo (Salvatore) of Saugus; his parents, George MacDonald and Elizabeth MacDonald of Chelsea; and his brothers, Arthur MacDonald and George MacDonald (Mary) of Revere.
He is survived by: his children, Michael G. MacDonald of Wakefield, Marc J. MacDonald (Teresa) of Saugus, Michelle H. Coye (Michael) of Billerica, Mary Beth MacDonald of Methuen and Kevin A. MacDonald (Kim Giddings) of New Hampshire; his daughter-in-law Diane MacDonald of Melrose; his grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Christina, Brittany, Lindsey, Michaela, Bobby, Amanda and Emily; his great grandchildren, Chace, Raiya, Brielle, Emersyn and Abigail; and his siblings, Robert MacDonald of Tennessee and Zoe of New Hampshire. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
