It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwina J. Murphy of Melrose, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 22, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William F. Murphy of Cambridge; her son William F. Murphy Jr. of Macomb; and her siblings, Bernice Meelia, Madeline Giard and Norman Meuse.
She is survived by: her children, Mary-Ellen Murray (Ned) of Melrose and Patricia Murphy (Philip Rheault) of Groveland; her grandchildren, Jeffry Murray, Jennifer Murphy, Lisa Symonds and Emmaline Rheault; and her great grandchildren, Jay Symonds Jr., Holden Symonds, Jaclyn Dillon and William Murphy-Cournaya. She is also survived by wife and cherished mother to her three children.
