He was predeceased by: his spouse Donelia "Dody" Chatis (Memolo); his parents, Lewis Chatis and Lillian Chatis; and his sisters, Myrna Bluestein and Barbara Chatis.
He is survived by: his sister Elaine Finklestein (late Mitchell Finklestein); his sibling's children, Carol Zamansky (Mark), Ellen Crocker (Jack), Paul Finkelstein (Lisa) and Michael Bluestein (Rose); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew (Emily), Matthew, Lauren, Lillian and Joshua.
