He was predeceased by: his siblings, Vincent D'Amato (late Jean), Loretta Dewsnap (Fred) of Malden, Anna Amerena (late Peter) and Jimmy D'Amato (Anita) of Winthrop. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. D'Amato (Antonucci); his children, Richard D'Amato (Michelle) of Peabody, Dotti Griffen (Matt Wall) of Beverly, Brian D'Amato (Sally) of Revere, Vinny D'Amato (Cindy) of Peabody, Larry D'Amato (Marilyn) of Saugus, Cheryl Santosuosso (Steve) of Melrose and Rhonda Annese (Rob) of Peabody; and his siblings, Lucy Maribito (late Tony) of Danvers, Pat D'Amato (Ann) of Saugus, Claire Hastings (late John) and Joanne Nardelli (Joe) of Peabody. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
