She was predeceased by: her son Edward Barter Jr. Dear; her sister Trudy Wisniewski; and her nephew David Donovan. She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn O'Brien (Thomas) of Medford; her sister Ruth Fitzgerald of Melrose; her sibling's child Robin Cabral; and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Thomas and Joshua.
