She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Madden and Margaret Madden (Brooks); her husband Walter Wirtanen; her son John "Jackie" Wirtanen; and her siblings, Thomas Madden, Daniel Madden, Richard Madden, Margaret Donohue, Eileen Bertoulin and Eleanor Rodgers.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Gunn (Lucille), Margaret Deborah Stamegna (Joseph), Pamela Daye (Timothy), Nancy Ruggiero and Richard Wirtanen (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Joseph, Bonnie, Lauren, Daniel, Kristen, Stephanie, Matthew, Richard, Kaitlyn, John and Danielle; and her great grandchildren, Colin, Tyler, Bryana, Joey, Julian, Gianna and Samuel.
