It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Hurley of Melrose, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Hurley and Mary Hurley (Doocey); and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Schettino of Revere; his children, Dr. Christine Hurley (William Wright) of Melrose, MA, Kara Berger (Steve) of Dallas, TX, John Hurley of New London, NH and Virginia Thompson (Tim) of Salisbury, MA.; his grandchildren, Lily, Emma, Jonathan, Sienna Wright, Owen, Emmett, Ava, Luke Berger, Nina, Maya Hurley, Ginger and Hurley Thompson; and his siblings, Nancy Karis (Hurley) of Holliston, MA, Judith Hurley of Neponset, MA, Rita, Arthur, James W., Bobby Hurley and Elizabeth Connell (Hurley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
