It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Mahakian (Melrose, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Mahakian to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mahakian and Hasmig Mahakian (Essegian); his sisters, Rose Nickerson, Araxie Bagian and Agnes Sarmanian; and his stepson Stephen DiMinico.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Jay DiMinico (Debra), Mark DiMinico and Matthew DiMinico; his grandchildren, Alicia, Jason and Biannca; his great grandchild Gianna; his brother Ira Mahakian (Diane); and his friend Harold Mindel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
