With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine T. (Tillson) McCarthy of Melrose, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 17, 2020 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent G. McCarthy; her son Daniel McCarthy; and her sister Jeanne O'Connell. She is survived by: her sons, James V. McCarthy (Paula Schliekelman) of Elk Grove, CA, Kevin J. McCarthy (Lisa) of Lynn, MA and Dennis T. McCarthy (Beth) of Melrose, MA; and her grandchildren, Meghan, Emily, Danielle, William McCarthy, Noelle, Samantha Schliekelman, Bryan Morgan and Amanda Stricos.
