He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey L. Butler. He is survived by: his friend Steven Small of Marshfield; his wife Helene M. (Marchant); his daughters, Cynthia Butler-Kistner (Frank) of Boca Raton, FL and Melissa Butler-Kennison (David) of Danvers; his siblings, Carol Chaisson (James) of Plymouth, Scott Butler (Wayne) and William Butler of Nottingham, NH.; his siblings' children, Jennie, Matthew and Elizabeth Chaisson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooke and Michael Horte. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
While the pandemic has been hard, it provided him with the happiest time of his life being in a bubble with those he loved.
