With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary A. Doherty of Melrose, Massachusetts, born in Charlestown, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 4, 2022 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Doherty (Gorry) and Bernard Doherty; and her sister Catherine E. Sellon. She is survived by: her brother Bernard J. Doherty of Somerville; her sibling's children, Thomas Sellon (Angela), Theresa Sellon (Curt Selig) of Melrose, Timothy Doherty (Christine), Maureen Doherty (Louie Mauro) of Somerville and Barney Doherty (Montana); and her great-nephew Luke Sellon. She is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews and close cousins.
