He was predeceased by: his siblings, David Lassiter and Ethel Clarke; his mother-in-law Etta Tilford; his brother-in-law Eugene Kennedy, Jr.; his close friend Richard Foresteire; and his pet Saffron.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn E. Lassiter (Kennedy); his children, Jennifer Lassiter of Melrose, Gregory Lassiter of Melrose and Melissa Williamson (Marvin) of Melrose; his grandchildren, Aaron Welch, Jourdan, Sean Lassiter, Noah "Doc" Williamson and Lucas Devine; his sibling Claire Facey of Everett; and his sister-in-law Deborah Tilford-Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
