He was predeceased by : his wife Margaret E. Claflin (Slavin); his parents, Russell W. Claflin and Mary E. Claflin (Woolacott); his son John A. Claflin Jr.; his daughter-in-law Judy Claflin (Kraft); and his siblings, Charles Claflin, Russell Claflin and Dorothy Rapko.
He is survived by : his children, Phyllis (Alan Tetreault) of Mendon, MA and Ronald Claflin (Dana) of Uxbridge, MA; his grandchildren, Jessica (Gregg Shepherd) of Mendon, MA, John Claflin (Kerry) of Clinton, MA, Timothy Claflin, Steven Claflin of Charlotte, NC, Alan Tetreault Jr. (Lauren) of Mendon, MA and Brian Tetreault of Providence, RI; his great grandchildren, Jacklyn Lemay, Haleigh Lemay, Garrison Shepherd, Brienne Tetreault, Audrey Tetreault and Sophie Claflin; and his siblings, Phyllis Aldrich and James Claflin of Mendon, MA. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 gathering restrictions and his family's concern for the wellbeing of family members & friends a Private.
