He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alaimo and Carmina Alaimo (Miele); and his brother Joseph Alaimo. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Alaimo (Peters); his siblings, William (Wanda), Stella Parolisi (Robert) and Susan Kelley (Peter); his sons, Deputy Police Chief and Police Officer Vincent A. Alaimo; his grandchildren, Lindsay M. Alaimo and Police Officer Joseph R. Alaimo; and also Cynthia Morgan (John Morgan). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
