She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Brooks and Ruby Brooks (Henry); her husband Moses Allen; her son Ronald Allen; and her siblings, Howard Brooks and Neta Aldrich.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Allen and Steven Allen (Connie); and her sister Beverly Hemond. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren.
