He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Funnell and Louise Funnell (Tautenhan). He is survived by: his wife Mildred Funnell (Minardi); his sons, David G. (Michelle) and Douglas R. (Sonja); his grandchildren, Dylan, Brendan, Morgan, Steven Funnell, Alycia Stevens, Cassandra Maxwell and Brittany Zinin; and his great grandchildren, Ryley Maxwell, Lexi and Mason Coates.
