She was predeceased by: her father Juan Montañez; and her brother Eddie Montanez. She is survived by: her mother Rosalia Montañez (Ortiz) of Lawrence; her daughters, Michelle Mejia-Rodriguez (Manuel) of Methuen and Adelyn Mejia (George Elhamaoui) of Methuen; her siblings, Olga Montañez of Lawrence, Minerva Gonzalez (Nelson) of Lawrence, Milagros Santiago of Lawrence, Zulma Montañez of Methuen, Carmen Montañez-Flores (Miguel) of Methuen, Juan Montañez, Jose Montañez (Cecy) of Lawrence, Hector Montañez of Lawrence, Ernesto Montañez (Elise) of Puerto Rico and Efrain Montañez (Gloria) of Salem, MA.; and her grandchildren, Manuel, Isabell Rodriguez, Alexis Alonzo and Layla Elhamaoui. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
