It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria E. Motta of Methuen, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Placido Motta; her sister Rachela Lofaro; and her parents, Rosario Nicotra and Maria Nicotra (Toscano). She is survived by: her children, Carmelo Motta of Methuen, Anna Maria Allen of Plaistow, NH, Rosetta McDonald of Methuen and Rosario Motta of Methuen; and her brother Luigi Nicotra of Pelham, NH. She is also survived by eight loving grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
