It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Briggs of Methuen, Massachusetts, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Quance and Etty Quance; her husband Franklin Briggs; her brother Earl Quance (June); and her daughter-in-law Norma Briggs (Crane).
She is survived by: her sister Pauline Hargreaves (George) of Methuen, MA; her children, William Briggs (Beverly) of Salem, NH, Robert Briggs (Sheryl) of Olin, NC and Sandra Briggs of Methuen, MA; her grandchildren, Jennifer Nolin (Briggs), Benjamin Briggs, Noel Briggs, Adam Briggs and Meghanne Briggs; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Briggs, Austin Briggs, Kevin Dufrense, Tristan Briggs, Adela Mayka-Briggs, Aurelia Mayka-Briggs, Tucker Bamberg and Vera Bamberg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Marilyn's name to Care Dimensions Hospice, 75 Sylvan St. Danvers, MA O1923.
