He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Lumsden and Thelma Jones Gates (Charles); his grandparents, Deacon William Henry and Mary Eva Hall Jones; his sons, Mekhi (Myles Lumsden) and Cherena Kitchen; his siblings, Elaine Lumsden of Toronto, Ontario, Yvonne Lumsden of Manchester, England, Clarence Calvin and Brian Jones (Marrenda) of Pottstown, MA.; and his godparents, Joseph D. Felton and Clementine Felton. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
William transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 7:30 pm at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA after a brief illness from COVID-19.
