He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Ahearn, Sr. and Myrtle L. Ahearn (Bemis). He is survived by: his wife Roseanne M. Ahearn (Cimino-Sheedy); his children, Robert "Rob" Sheedy of Milford, Susan Bird (Stephen) of Uxbridge and Kelli Brady (Frank) of Franklin; and his grandchildren, Alanna Bird, R. J. Sheedy, Matthew Sheedy and Meghan Brady.

Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, MA/NH chapter, 320 Nevada Street.
