He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy A. Townsend (Reece); his children, Donna Johnson (Stephen) of Oxford, Robert Townsend (Beth) of Millbury and Glen Townsend (Darlene) of Westford; his grandchildren, Christopher Johnson, Kimberly Thomas (Ryan), Robert Townsend, Brian Townsend, Alexandra, Jonathan and Stephen Townsend; and his great grandchildren, Logan Thomas and Connor Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
