He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gauthier (LaChapelle); his sisters, Barbara Gauthier and Eleanor Chapman Fisher; and his siblings' children, George Chapman, Patty Stone, Paul Fisher, Kit Chapman, Toni Koland, Karen Gorney and Barbara Beatty.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 1 River Street, Millbury, MA 01527.
