He was predeceased by : his parent Antonio Alessi; his grandchild Nicole Amber Alessi; his sibling Anthony Alessi; and also Barbara Alessi (Stone). He is survived by : his parent Mary Alessi (Sciaba); his children, Mary Ellen Alessi Goodwin (Timothy) of Nahant, Anthony Alessi (Susan) of Nahant, Eileen Peterson (Edwin) of Nahant, Thomas Alessi (Carolyn) of Burlington and Michael Alessi of Saugus; his grandchildren, Anthony, Clinton, Victoria, Alexander, Isabella, Holly Alessi and Edwin Peterson; and his siblings, Lillian Scapicchio (Peter), John Alessi and Frances Caprio. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
