It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie G. Bongiorno of Nahant, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John D. Gertsen and Susan Gertsen (Powers); her brother John Gertsen; and her husbands, Maurice R. Welsh and Joseph T. Bongiorno. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
