He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Whitney and Daphne Whitney; his sister Carol; and his wife Judy. He is survived by: his brothers, Ronnie and Ricky Whitney; and his children, John Whitney (Jean), Kathy Whitney, Jean Morse (Chris), Cindy Hamel (Mike), Bruce Whitney, Jr. (Anna) and Billy Whitney (Heather). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
