She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Smith; her son Dennis A. Smith; and her brother John J. Hughes. She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki J. Bean (late Frank) of Norwood and Jacqueline M. Walker; her grandchildren, Laura Bean (Nate Flint) of Chicago and Mark Walker of Needham; and her sisters, Frances "Helen" Gurry, Iris Gariepy and Elizabeth "Betty" Doherty.
