George Pennock Urban III Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Pennock Urban III (Needham, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 11, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Pennock Urban, Jr. and Jane Wells Cordes (Urban); his wife Jean Enos Urban; his children, David Pierce Urban and Christy Urban Strawbridge; his grandchildren, Kevin George Urban, Alexander Wells Urban, Kaitlin Marie Urban and John Pierce Urban; and his sisters, Betty Urban, Janie Constantine and Ann Louise Brooks.
Due to the pandemic, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
To carry on George's philanthropic legacy, donations can be made in his honor to the Neighborhood House Charter School in Dorchester, MA.
