He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Marc of Walpole and Linda (Nancy) of Needham; his grandson Seamus; and his wife Nancy.
John C. Halfrey, a thoughtful and caring father, grandfather and neighbor, whose childhood during the Great Depression launched an inspiring life of optimism, charity and perseverance, died on Monday, Nov. 30, in Needham.
