He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Paulini; and his sister Carol McGourty. He is survived by: his significant other Rosemarie Perreco; his children, Lisa Avakian (AJ) of Millis, David (Kate) of Norton and Maria Kennedy; and his siblings, Thomas Paulini of Harwich and Gail Robinson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Joe's name to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Floor 6, Brookline, MA 02445-9924 would be appreciated.
