He is survived by: his wife Maria Proia (Cerminara); his children, Christopher Joseph Proia (Kimberly) of Norfolk, Cassandra Marie Proia of Needham and Stephanie Marie Proia of Needham; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Proia and Christopher Joseph Proia Jr. Dear; and his siblings, Rocco, Lucy and Philip Proia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
