She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Joseph P. Powers; her sons, Devin Powers and Cullan Powers; her parents, Frances E. O'Brien and Elizabeth Corrigan O'Brien; and her siblings, John, Maureen and Robert O'Brien. She was also cherished by nephews and nieces and their children, as well as her life long friends.
