It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Monsignor Francis McGann (Needham, Massachusetts), born in Woburn, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. McGann and Alice G. McGann (Fitzpatrick); and his siblings, Joseph M. McGann (Jean) and Mary Keith (William Keith). He is survived by: his nieces, Virginia Reade (John Reade) of Lancaster, Maureen McDonald (McGann) of Reading, MA, Sharon Keith of Boston, MA and Kathleen Cammarota (McGann) of Moody, ME; his cousin George "Jerry" Hogan of Sarasota, FL.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sharon Reade-Boyden (Ben), Heather Rose (Kevin), Brendan Reade (Kerry) and Conor McDonald; and also, Olivia Reade, Sophia, Sylvia, Vera Boyden, Emma, Charlotte, Xavier, Gabriel, Isaac, Lilah Rose and Eliot Reade.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a Mass will be scheduled when churches are open and restrictions are lifted.
