He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia; his sister Louise Cole; and his son Mark Fischer. He is survived by: his sons, Paul Fischer (Maxine Fischer) of South Windsor, CT, Jack Fischer (Susan Fischer) of Marblehead, MA and Jim Fischer (Maria Amoroso) of Hadden Heights, NJ. He is also survived by several grandchildren, two nephews and a niece.
