He was predeceased by: his parents, William Heinsohn and Elizabeth Heinsohn; his wife Helen Jane Heinsohn; and his brother-in-law Ralph Merletto. He is survived by: his sister Marion Merletto of Secaucus, NJ; his children, Donna Kumf (Scott) of Milford, MA, Paul Heinsohn of Newport, RI and David Heinsohn-Roe (Mary) of Clinton, MA; his daughter-in-law Dr. Carmel Heinsohn of West Roxbury, MA.; his grandson Brian Kumf (Catherine); his great grandchild Patrick Kumf (Ashley); his nephew Scott Merletto; his nieces, Jodi (John Vicchio) and Tracey (Patrick Byle); and also, Danielle Heinsohn, Victoria Heinsohn, Brook Heinsohn, Adrian Heinsohn-Roe and Christopher Heinsohn-Roe.
Due to concerns about COVID-19, the funeral and burial will be private.
