He was predeceased by: his son William Frederick Dickson Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Dickson (Post); his children, Stephanie Halpern (Mark) of Sommerville, NJ and Laurie Roche (Jay) of Needham; and his sibling Beverly Dearborn (Barry) of Windsor, CT. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
