It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Joseph DeMyer of New Ashford, Massachusetts, born in North Adams, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard H. DeMyer and Margaret DeMyer (Haddad); his wife Cheryl Elaine Richardson; his children, Tamara Parker, Darren DeMyer and Travis DeMyer; his siblings, Judith Chick (Edson) of Plymouth, VT, Susan Nemser (Charles) of Cheshire, Ronald DeMyer (Wendy) of Williamstown, David DeMyer of Pittsfield and Stephen DeMyer of New Ashford; his grandchildren, Brandon, Sean, Jason, Phoenix DeMyer and Zachery Parker; and his uncle C. William "Duke" DeMyer. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
