With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Faria of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank V. Faria, Jr. and Florence Faria (Goguen). He is survived by: his wife Dolores Faria (Johnson) of New Bedford; his children, Alfred J. Faria, Jr. of New Bedford, Catherine Sylvia, Cheryl Lacasse (Glenn) of Acushnet, Donna Hubert of Fairhaven and Wendy Gleason of Acushnet; his brother Francis Faria (Catherine) of New Bedford; his grandchildren, Marcey Oliveira, Megan Tanque, Matthew Lacasse, Ryan Hubert and Andrew Hubert; his great grandchildren, Callie Oliveira, Gavin Oliveira, Nathan Tanque, Olivia Tanque, Emmie Grace Tanque, Beckett Lacasse and Baker Lacasse; and his goddaughter Michelle Bruno. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
