With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hugh F. Bonds Jr. in New Bedford, Massachusetts, born in Green Cove Springs, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Rogan. He is survived by: his wife Diana B. Bonds; his children, Daniel Bonds, Dawn Nunes (Roy Melo), Sherri Sterling (Jack Sterling) and Kimberly Severino (TJ Severino); his grandchildren, Hunter, Connor, Nickolas (Nicole), Zachary, Cameron, Benjamin, Logan, Lincoln, Andrew, Sarah, Emily and Thomas; and his great grandchild Nora.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Black Bass Grille (3 Water St, Dartmouth, MA 02748).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Butch's memory to The Tomorrow Fund, in honor of his late great-grandson, Rogan.
