He was predeceased by: his parents, João C. Barbosa and Maria José Teixeira; his daughter Gilberta Teixeira Fagundo; and his siblings, Ildeberta Rocha, Antonio Cabral, Manuel Teixeira and José Barbosa.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Teixeira of New Bedford; his son-in-law Mario Fagundo of New Bedford; his grandchildren, Kevin Fagundo of Fall River and Jeanette Taber (Nathan) of New Bedford; and his great grandchildren, Preston Duarte and Aubree Fagundo.
