It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan P. Medeiros of New Bedford, Massachusetts, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Alexander Lambert and Frances Lambert (Wagner); and her sisters, Nancy Aguiar (Johnny) and Arline Enoksen. She is survived by : her husband Donald Medeiros; her daughters, Anne F. Campbell of Taunton and Donna M. Tiernan (Paul) of New Bedford; her brother James Lambert (Cathy) of Rochester; her brothers-in-law, Thomas Medeiros (Trudy) of New Bedford and Roy Enoksen of Mattapoisett; her grandchildren, Eric Caton, Brian Caton (Stephanie), Michelle Woodward (Cory), Annette Campbell (Ryan) and Kathleen Campbell (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Xenia Caton, Stella Woodward and Bryce Woodward. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home & Cremation (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Church (233 County St, New Bedford, MA 02740).
