With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Julio Iglesias of New Bedford, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Julio left this world on September 16, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Iglesias; his siblings, Mariana Iglesias and Carlos Iglesias; his brother-in-law Rafael Alvarado; and his mother-in-law Herminia Lugo.
He is survived by: his mother Martina Garcia Retamar; and his children, Javish Iglesias (Maria Iglesias), Lydia Ayala, Mariana Escobar and Martina Searles (Kristie Iglesias). He is also survived by his brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Community Funeral Chapels (798 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604).
