We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2024, at the age of 97, Mariana K. Nunes of New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jose Reis and Amelia Reis (Anacleto); her children, Manuel "Butch" Coelho and Donna Braga; and her siblings, John Reis, Manuel "Lally" Reis, Frank Reis, Cacilda Sylvia, Mary Barboza, Matilda Fernandes, Dorothy Martin and Emily Gonçalves.

She is survived by : her children, Joseph Coelho of New Bedford, Kathleen McDaniel of New Bedford and Loraine Coelho of New Bedford; her stepchildren, Daniel Coelho, Steven Coelho, Paul Coelho, Necy Toure and Cat Eastmond; and her grandchildren, Paul Miranda, Wendy Harris, Andrew Coelho, Adam Braga and Jennifer Braga.
