She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cotta, and Lydia Cotta, Jr. (Santos) of New Bedford; and her brothers, Lt. Kenneth Cotta of Dartmouth and John Cotta, III. She is survived by: her son Paul Andrew LaFrance of Winder, GA; her sister-in-law Rita Cotta of Dartmouth; her nephew Corey Cotta (Cindy) of Lakeville; and her caregiver Tyler Cotta (Parker) of New Bedford.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Rock Funeral Home (1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish (343 Tarkiln Hill Rd, New Bedford, MA 02745).
