Pires of New Bedford; his siblings, Sweden, Anastacio Pires (Custodio) of Boa Vista, Joana Pires of Boa Vista, Alcidia Brito Pires (Luisa) of Lisbon, Portugal, Artur Pires of Boa Vista and Albertino Pires of São Vicente; and his grandchildren, Sienna D. Pires-Cruz of New Bedford, Jacob C. Brown of Cranston, RI and Adrian S. Brown of Cranston, RI.
