He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Whaley and Linda Whaley; and his close friend Brian MacDonald. He is survived by: his son Sean; his sister Karen (Steve); his niece Sammy Quarantiello of Newburyport; Jill. He is also survived by many aunts uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Conte Funeral Home (193 High St, Newburyport, MA 01950). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
