It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Makiver of Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Paul Joyce Sr.; and her brother Paul Joyce Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Meghan, Michael Quinn of Brookline, Katelyn, Seve Llanio of New York City and Molly Makiver of Boston; her mother Jean Joyce of North Andover; her brother Brian Joyce (Christy); and her sibling's child Cayla of Holliston. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
