With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary J. Murphy of Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 7, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Helen (McDermott) and John F. Cutter, Jr.; her husband Gary E. Murphy; and her brother John F. Cutter III. She is survived by : her children, Thomas Murphy (Jody) of Newburyport, Paula Murphy-Roux (George) of Stuart, FL, Gary "Mike" Murphy (Terri) of Hampton, NH and Melissa Vespa (Jon) of Newburyport; her grandchildren, Colin, Gary, Ashley, Katie, Molly and Peter; her sister Joanne Stanwood (Forrest) of Newburyport; and her sister-in-law Barbara Cutter of Newburyport. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
