It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Santagati of Newton, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian Santagati and Rose Santagati (Sprizza); and his sister Carmela McLaughlin (Millie). He is survived by: his children, Anthony Santagati Jr. (Brenda) of Abington, Patricia Ellis (Geoff) of Dedham, Dianne Girouard (Claude) of Newton and John Santagati (Julie) of Framingham; his grandchildren, Ellen Santagati, Connor Ellis, Gina Santagati and Isabella Santagati; and his siblings, Josephine Ensko, Connie Beaulieu, Rose Gagnon, Eleanor MacLean and John Santagati. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As a result of ongoing COVID restrictions funeral services will be private.
