She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sara P. Ahern (Norris) and John D. Ahern; her siblings, John Ahern (Clare) of Valhalla, Patricia Ahern Wilhite of Houston and Paul Ahern (Mary) of Melrose; her siblings' children, Julie Ahern of Wakefield, Catherine Zoe Ahern Prince of Valhalla, Jennifer Wilhite Fahrenthold, John Ahern of Estero, Shawn Ahern of Jamaica Plain and Kevin Ahern (Beth) of Ossining; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonathon, Michael Ahern, Finley Fahrenthold, Finn, Islay Ahern, Deuce, James, Sarah Grace and John Paul Prince.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Barbara's name may be made to St. Joseph's School, 15 Gould St. Wakefield, Mass. 01880.
